Veigalan Estudio 2010 is developing the European Project H2020-SME Instrument: “WORKSHOP 4.0: Automated real-time production forecasting for industry”.
The project consists on performing the business plan to commercializate the WORKSHOP4.0 technology. This innovative technology provides solutions to the problems of global competitive environment to which the manufacturing companies have to deal manufacturing their products with the lowest levels of rejection and minimum costs. In the most advanced industries the number of manufacturing parameters collected during the entire production chain in series varies from hundreds to thousands, so the conventional statistical analyses have been totally obsolete for the optimization of production processes. VEIGALAN has developed WORKSHOP4.0, a tool that by techniques of artificial intelligence and machine learning allows the multivariable analysis of large volumes of data.
WORKSHOP4.0 is able to detect predictively unwanted situations during the production and to avoid the possible defects which could affect the quality and/or the final cost of product. Our technology allows the application of corrective actions in real time anticipating the situations that could increase the operative costs: high rejection, low productivity, high energy consumption, etc. WORKSHOP4.0 also helps in the design stage of processes allowing to establish the optimal processing limits which offer higher probability of success in quality assurance.
Tested and approved in the foundry sector nationally, the feasibility study funded by H2020-EU2.1.2-Industrial Leadership, will allow to define the expansion path of this innovative tool internationally in those sectors which show a high automation and digitization of their production systems.
